Active Beach Day Saturday 7/29/17day that includes; yoga, stand up paddleboarding (SUP), a breezy lunch, and the perfect excuse to head out to the beach.

Last summer, our team had the time of their lives with the crew from A-Team and we couldn’t be more pleased to be returning for a day of SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding), sand and yoga with you.

Why SUP?

SUP teaches us how to be fluid like the water even while generating the power to move forward. We love this balance and the fact that we are exercising on the water. Going with the flow and learning how to move with the little ripples and waves of the water is a wonderful mind body exercise and  improves our core strength and body awareness (just wait until the next day after when the soreness gets you in all the new places). We are also so excited to be working once again with the coaches at A-Team Paddleboarding. They will teach us vital fundamentals of paddling and take us on a fitness journey around the Bay. Even if you are an experienced paddler, there is always something to learn from these top notch coaches.

  • Rockaway Beach, meet at 94th Street Beach at 9am

What:

Morning Yoga Class at 9am

30 minute Yoga Class on the beach lead by Camille Eroy-Reveles MPH (E-500hour)

The yoga session will be all levels and led by The L Trainer founder- Camille. Whether you are an advanced yogi or it is your first time, don’t worry, you will have fun getting to know your body, making space around your joints, breathing, and enjoying the unique challenges of exercising in the sand. Camille will offer plenty of options so you can keep it chill or make it spicy, whatever you need to get ready for the water.

90 minute Stand Up Paddle Board Fitness Group Lesson taught by A-Team Paddle Boarding

Post Yoga, we will head over to the bay side to meet our coaches A-Team Paddleboarding for our  90 minutes paddle lesson. We are stoked to experience fitness literally on the water! We will also be doing a little training  and even some SUP Yoga on the board for our core and balance (YAY!!!)
