Quarantine In- Home Fitness Workout Ritual

Are you going a little wacko during “shelter in place?”

Yeah, me too. So here is the START of an in home fitness series so you can get fit with me. I’m also getting fit post baby, so it’s not going to be super intense:).

Join me and we will emerge from our homes fit, happy, and with SUPER STRONG IMMUNITY!!!

A little background about me:

I’m Camille Eroy-Reveles and I’ve been a personal trainer for close to 2 decades and have been a yoga teacher for 6 years. I founded The L Trainer 10 years ago and have a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Public Health. My work is about finding the love and vitality within each of us amid a time of great societal dis-ease and collective health change (more on that in another blog). I look to ancient healing methods and am constantly learning more about how energy flows in the body and what practices can do to keep our precious life force flowing.. I LOVE helping people feel happy and healthy in their bodies and teach with a big focus of gratitude towards our amazing vessels. In home fitness is my jam and I work alongside an amazing team. We have a blast creating unique programs for our clients and pumping each other up when we get low. We are lucking that we have been doing in home fitness for so long and having fun transition to virtual sessions now. In home fitness is always a winner because 1) It’s private 2) you can do it whenever 3) you use whatever equipment you have with you.. basically, it’s the easiest way to get all of us moving and grooving.

So check out this little youtube workout. It’s about 10 minutes, but you can do repeat it 3 times and it will be quite a good 30 minute workout. GOOD LUCK and see you soon!!!


But can you stick with it? THAT IS THE METRIC OF SUCCESS. A person achieves fitness success by being able to keep a daily fitness practice. This practice can be 5 minutes or 90 minutes. It can even be broken up in little chunks. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU DO IT!!! and also please be conscious of how your body feels in that present moment (you don’t need to be checking your phone right now, this is the time you are loving yourself).

How to be successful in your Fitness during Quarantine:

1) Create a Ritual: Maybe it’s at a specific time everyday, maybe it’s about rolling out your mat and lighting a candle, maybe it is putting on your playlist and lacing up your shoes. We humans love the ritual. For me, it’s rolling out my mat, or shaking it out if it’s already there, and then taking a few deep breaths and rolling out my shoulders… that’s all I need to bridge into my practice. But you may need more:)

2)Follow a series or take an online class: When you follow a created format (a class), then you will most like do more than on your own. You will also pick up some new moves and it will probably be fun to follow along.

3) Hire a Personal Trainer to create a plan for you: Why? This is precious time for you to drop into a loving relationship with your body. It’s the time you have always craved to figure out how to work on your fitness. To heal recurrent a pattern, posture, or pain. To reach your UNIQUE fitness goals with feedback and direction from an expert on the body. Contact us if you would like to dive deep with a virtual session.
